SPECIAL NOTE: This nib was made to commemorate the formal opening of the Panama Canal on August 15, 1914, with the passage of the cargo ship SS Ancon. The nib also has the unique feature of the punched keyhole in the shape of an axe.

Vintage metal dip pen nib from the late-1800's to early-1900s.

Nibs are unused, original old stock, not re-creations and work with any of the quill pens we offer or any modern dip pen handle.

Due to their age, nibs may have tiny blemishes - this will not affect their writing performance.
